TRG | The Bottom Line – 4/8

A big THANK YOU to the TRG team and all who made TRG’s 7th annual C&I Conference this week a success! This was the first in-person C&I Conference since 2019, and the first hosted in our hometown of Nashville. This event is unique because we have gathered the largest private companies in the U.S. in the construction & industrial segment. Aspects that have not changed since the onset of Covid-19 – innovation, grit, integrity, patience, vision, and a lot of hard work – none of the companies joining us this past week would be here today without embracing these key qualities. These types of companies that embrace these ideals can and will thrive the test of time. We learned this week that Turkish cement actually matters, the deglobalization ship has sailed and is, in fact, happening (even though it’s not showing up in “economic” numbers yet), and there’s a lot of head scratching about the dichotomy of what is happening in the construction market versus the stock market. Stay tuned for additional takeaways.
